Got my SI Baseball preview today, and Dice-K is on the cover. That should be good for a 5+ ERA. LOL. They pick the Angels over the Dodgers in an All-SoCal Series..

Tigers have pitching to me that's 2/3 of the equation. GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw that too. I can see the Dodgers pick, but the Angels? I think the Angels are gonna be mediocre at best again this year. Their pitchers are either hurt already (Weaver), still hurt from last year (Colon), and always hurt (Escobar). I just don't see it. What did they do to improve this offseason? Gary Matthews Jr? Please. He juiced up for his contract year, and will go back to hitting .245 every year now. Getting a healthy Kotchman back should help and Vlad too, but Anderson is near immobile at this point, Rivera is out for 2 months, and Figgins just went down for 6 weeks.

SI is so bad at prognosticating it's comical.
