Riveting thread. Anytime you get Lilly at home against Nelson Figueroa at a pick'em it's a solid play IMHO. Unfortunately, you didn't enumerate one decent reason though in all your caps lock glory - haha. I'm not sure why "Tedman" (hahaha) is "the softest player in baseball" either though? I know why JML thinks so (sour grapes from Toronto), but not sure about Nitts? The "awesome" Mets lineup is not at all awesome right now because Beltran and Delgado are both hitting around .200, Damion Easley is hitting 6th and Ryan Church (inexplicably) and Brian Schneider (injury) didn't play today.
Willie Randolph is the worst manager in baseball. WORST. He's managed to put together the Mets worst offensive lineup and their worst defensive team on the field at the same time. Absolutely unreal.

i agree with ya cusefan10...Mets have the potential to be something else....they look so good on paper...pitching is stellar relieve is good...closer is good....maybe get some fresh guys in...for the likes of delgado or beltran im sure they could get some nice offers.....
but i agree willie randolph is the worst manager in the league... i hope he doesnt screw up the mets in the long term though..easley is a joke casanova sucks...i dont know how any manager could not lead the mets to a winning season..they have the core there..... maybe Joe torre should have come to the METS ...MUAHAHAHA  as fas as anything look what girardi is doing for the yanks...not a damm thing...

After sorting thru all the caps lock garble and such, I did read something at the end of this thread that I was going to say myself.
Carlos Delgado sucks, and should go while he's still worth something to someone....but no, he'll be the starting first baseman for the Mets all season....hitting like .250 (or less) and either grounding into double plays or whiffing every other time he's up. Oh well....not my problem. I got suckered in on playing the Mets as a dog the last 2 days. My bad.

im kinda leaning toward Brett Myers on the Philly game..Francis is good...but if Myers is on this will be a very good duel...only thing im worried bout is the Phillies bullpen... i think Francis will give up a couple...unlike yesterdays game were Phils came from behind...
