Default humping day turds

ytd 102-109 (-9.45 units)

Braves -125

Jurrjens tough....Hill not so much so ever since his string of injuries.

Tribe -190

Lee practically unhittable, Washburn is BP for the most part these days...

Orioles +105

O's continue to be ignored. Their bullpen has been amazing, and Albers has been respectable as a starter. The fact that they're a home dog to TB is ridiculous, imho. People just aren't paying attention to the success the O's are having after finally dumping some of the old ass overpaid baggage they wasted their time and money on the last few years...

SD/Philly under 9.5 -120

Almost looks too easy....to the point that it worries me. I was surprised to not see 8 or 8.5 here. I guess Philly's pen and their hitter friendly park have it jacked up a run, thru the key number of 9, because SD can't hit worth a ****, and are even worse vs LHP, and it's a rare occasion that Chris Young gets lit up. Bad number here, as one of the teams has to hit at least 6 runs to cover it, and that's IF the other one holds up their end too and gets at least 4....neither of which look too likely, on paper.

2 units each

Might have a few more yet, still looking it over....

nice turnaround as of late. I think the phils/pads total is screaming for under money. Moyer can sometimes leave his soft toss pitches up in the zone and even SD might be able to do something with those pitches. We'll see. These don't seem like typical stifler plays haha. a huge fav, road fav. Times are changin.

Washburn BP pitcher these days? He's only given up more than 3 ER once in any of his 5 starts this year...and that was 4 ERs against the majors best hitting club...still a respectable effort. Surprised to read that...he's been a consistantly "good" starter for years...

GL...like the plays! I'll give you a 3-2 Tribe win! lol.

PS...I can't believe you're laying 190 in baseball! Even I don't do that! lol.

I've watched a few Washburn starts (been on Seattle in them) and I thought he sucked. Not very good control and was asking to get hammered. I just wasn't impressed, even if his numbers are decent.

Cliff Lee has as much talent and stuff as any pitcher in MLB, imo. I don't know why he sucked for the last year or two, but the guy can be just plain dominating, and it seems like he's found whatever he was missing. I wouldn't fade him anytime soon, at least until he shows signs of a lapse.

Honestly, he reminds me of Chris Young. That guy sucked balls when he pitched for Texas and whoever else, then all of a sudden like 2 years ago he gets traded to SD and becomes a freakin stud of a pitcher for whatever reason and has been doing great ever since. I remember fading him forever, thinking his success was flukey, but apparently it wasn't....and i remember it costing me quite a few times too.

Oh ,and LOL about the -190 plays. I've just been trying to find what I think are the easiest winners lately. Now granted, the -190 plays are going to be few and far between, lol, but, i've learned that sometimes -190 or -200 can be a bargain....partially by refusing to play anything that high and watching all the ones i WOULD HAVE played of they were under -150 win, and partially by playing the opposite too many times and watching some crappy team that I played because they were +200 and I thought they might have a chance, have no chance.

Sometimes I'm just too stubborn refusing to see faves as good plays, especially in baseball where losses on faves seem to cost more (more than if you just layed -14 in football and it doesn't cover and the loss is -110 just like if you laid -1 is what i'm saying)....and it costs me. I'm just trying to see things more objectively this year, and unlike in the past, the +200's are gonna be as few and far between as the -200's. There is no "value" in a loser. even if it's +20000.

I really thought the Braves were one of the best plays on the board tonight too. Everything went as planned there as far as Jurrjens shutting down the Nats offense, except the stupid Braves weren't able to score

Ah well, tomorrow's another day....
