Default JML Saturday MLB >>>

MLB YTD: 98-96, -29.65 Units

Four winning days in a row....

Mets -123 (Santana) vs Yanks
Both teams are not playing well, but I'll take the better starter. Pettite's been in a rut, and the Mets hit lefties at a .283 clip. The Yanks are near the bottom of mlb against lefties hitting .229...and are in a bigtime slump at the plate...they really miss Arod, and it won't be any easier against Santana. Johan probably wants to show the Yanks what they missed out on, and he also has surprisingly been good against the Yanks over his career, with a career 2.66 ERA...his best against any AL team. Not to many starters can say that. He has also done great on the big stage at Yankee stadium with a career 1.17 ERA.

Cardinals -118 (Wainwright) vs Rays
Wainwright is able to slow down the hot Rays at home...

Indians -102 (Carmona) vs Reds
Prefer Carmona to Harang, and the Indians bounce back from last nights loss...their pitching has been too good to lose two in a row...

Red Sox RL -106 (DiceK) vs Brewers
Fade of Suppan on the road...he has been horrible away from Wisconsin, and faces an AL powerhouse at Fenway...and by far the best bats in the majors...

Blue Jays -110 (Burnett) vs Phillies
Jays/Phillies brings back those sweet memories of 1993...."touch 'em all Joe, you'll never hit a bigger home run in your life". A pick'em with Burnett facing Eaton? Gotta go with the Jays...

Twins +114 (Hernandez) vs Rockies
Not sure how the horrible Rox and a kid pitcher can be faves over the Twins. Reynolds is in the rotation more because of the ineptness of others rather than the fact that he is ready. He was hit pretty good by the Padres horrible lineup, I expect a good AL lineup to really give him fits. Livan has been great, and the Rox main guy Holliday looks to be banged up. Wrong team favoured IMO.

2 Units Each
