Been on a real rough stretch, but each new day brings new opportunities to turn things around, and that's my thinking on my first play. I think Old Jim will throw everything he's got at the Mariners tonight to get V on track. Mariners struggled somewhat against the Pads, and are still a weak lineup. I think Silva is way overrated right now with that contract, and I think the Tigers put up 5-6 at least tonight. I think that should give me a win on this bet.

my M's are sadly a terrible team and even a gem by any of their rotation isn't enough to get them wins these days, so as much as I dont wanna root against them tonight I think you're sitting on a winner tonight.

Ah, looking into later action.... I backed out of my play on the Twins when the line shifted from -125 to -135 right at game time. So no play there with the bigger chalk. I moved the money from that wager to the Over in the Giants/Rockies game. Betting an Over in a Lincecum game? Yes I am. I think Cook has been getting very fortunate with leaving men on base and could see 3-4 runs tonight. Giants have a potent lineup for their standards, and the Rockies have had success against Lincecum in the past... except Tulowitzki. Tim has walked twice as many on the road despite pitching 10 less innings.

Well I passed on a golden opportunity with the Twins, but still pulled away with a 2-0 night and got back to even on the month. Hopefully I can parlay this into a couple more winners tomorrow. I'm ready to finish the month strong.
