One more tonight...
I admit Zito is worth about 1% of that contract he got, but the Dodgers are seriously crippled on the basepaths. They are having to rely on their power w/ Pierre and Furcal out, so he might have a chance to notch his first win at home in 10 tries this season. He's also had success in his two starts with Davidson behind the dish in the past. The Under is 15-6-1 in Zitos last 22 starts when their opponent scores 5 runs or more in their previous game, and he's had good success against the NL West. Chan Ho has been very good in his 3 starts this year and seems to have recaptured some of his old magic. Both pens are serviceable right now, Broxton won't get another chance to blow it tonight. Both teams are in the bottom 5 for NL OBP% in the past week... Dodgers had the lowest in June with .290 OBP%... that's bad. Hope this all comes together tonight for a low scoring game. I know I've written off Seattle this year, and like many other people are waiting for Detroit to go on a tear. But them laying decent chalk on the road is a bad idea. Seattle has quietly gone 7-3 in the past 10 games, and it's because they're hitting .305 with a team ERA of 2.83. This is strickly a value type bet with the belief that Seattle has to improve on their home record at some point. Dickey will get a shot at his first home win at some point. Seems wery risky with Galarraga tonight seeing as Tigers are 4-0 in his last 4 road starts, and are 5-0 in his last 5 starts as a favorite. With the way the M's are playing right now, this seems like a very good spot to break all these trends, and the odds are very nice.

Glad the Giants didn't get to carried away and were able to hold on and get Zito a deserved win.
I.B... you'll know what I mean then when I say Mariners couldn't knock in a runner if their life depended on it, all 10 base runners were left on base through 7 innings. Good thing Clement had intentions of silencing some critics and put up 2 long shots to match the Tigers. Goes to show you how important the bullpen are in deciding a game. All three of my games were decided by blown leads due to relief pitching. Luckily that still equated into a 2-1 night for me. -- July ML = (2-1) +$415 July RL = (0-0) +$0 July O/U = (1-0) +$330 July H+R+E = (2-1) +$280 July Parlays = (1-1) +$245 -- Starting Bankroll = $30,000 Current Bankroll = $35,825 1% Bet Amount = $330 Bet Change @ $36,300 / $29,700 --
