sorry they did you the way they did but that is just the way they are playing these days. Dunn is now 3 for his last 30 and has loafed twice in the field this week. Dusty baker said in the Dayton Daily news that "this is wayne krivsky's team, not mine" even though he is the one who wanted corey patterson. yeah, that's real leadership. They have i believe 13 or 14 free agents at the end of the year and i don't believe any of them will be back (dunn is the only one on the fence). Jocketty said the other day that he wanted to see how dunn did on the field and in the lockerroom without griffey (when asked if he would be back). i am guessing they aren't too impressed with his 3 for 30 and lack of hustle. And then there is the lizard. who won't bench anyone, won't get upset and continues to bring that stupid ass kid into the dugout (that is wearing reealllllllllll thin on everyone announcers included). wouldn't drop griffey to 6th or 7th in the order (ozzie guillen had no problem doing that), continues to make stupid move after stupid move. They are just a mess stif and they aren't going to turn it around this year. they are carrying 3 catchers, all of whom suck, and they have no sticks off the bench to pinch hit. Not to mention outside of Bruce and Phillips this team has ZERO energy on the field. The encarnacion experiment should have been over by now and his ass needs to go too. He is a zero energy guy.

They teach no fundamentals in the minors, can't execute, they get guys picked off constantly or bad base running (see jay bruce trying to go to 3rd last night on a ground ball to the SS right in front of him...also see brandon phillips picked off 2nd last weekend with guys on 1st and 2nd and no outs down 4-1.....) and generally have no leadership.

my point is, i really would be leary of playing on the Reds right now and especially at "-" money. you're kicking some ass this year, so it really is far be it for me to try and alter your betting patterns....but im really just trying to give you the true picture as a guy who follows them daily and has a pretty good ear to the team.
