Got back on track yesterday with a 3-1 day, thats more like it...

Interesting sched today, heavy faves have for the most part been winning so it hurts us value bettors but i'm sticking to my guns and taking some value today...

Pirates + 106 x 2 units

Love this match up for the bucs. Duke is tough on lefties and the reds power for the most part comes off the left side. If the reds power doesn't beat you the reds simply don't win. Miltons struggled vs the pirates in the past, is coming off the dl so conditioning is a question and then followed by a weak ass pen. Pirates will be given every chance to win this one.

Drays + 132 x 1 unit

Going against doc isn't easy but Kazmirs been nails at home and the ray bats are hitting everything these days. A hot line up with a stud pitcher at home at + odds. Doc isn't winning every game this year. Value in this play.

Brew Crew - 111 to win 1 unit

Capuano was very good against the cubbies last year and is a good young pitcher backed by a quality rested bullie. Miller is up for the cubbies and who knows what he's going to deliver today but my guess is that he's not picking up where he left off and the brews are trying to avoid getting swept. Good spot to do it with a questionable pitcher coming in and for a relatively small price.

Rox + 176 x 1 unit

Going against another ace here but like a few factors in this one. Peavys numbers during game days is well off his norm. The rox have hit him hard in the past while the padres barely have a major leagues calibre batting line up. Cook has had success vs the padres the last couple seasons. All in all, I again see value here.

A's/Angels under 8.5 @ -109 to win 1 unit

I can't see either pitcher getting blown out today and both have solid pens to fall back on. 3-2,4-2 type game in the making.

I like the tigers as well today but hate laying that much chalk in baseball.

glad I didn't get on that tigers game, losing out on the profit they got for winning wouldn't have been worth checking updates for the duration of the game and hoping for the come from behind win.

I can't say im a big fan of Padillas but is there a more overated batting line up than the red sox? They aren't producing and they aren't a great road team. Schill will still have his moments but I don't believe he's an ace anymore and I think this tough rangers line up can get to him while in texas. I see plenty of value in this play.

Clearly you disagree but aside from Ortiz and Manny who are studs whats left? For what they have and how highly the public thinks of the team, I believe they're overated. Might have gone a bit too far with the most overated but they're up there imo.
