5-1 last night picking up 4.69 units. Lost my only parlay. Won my only total and hit both favs and both dogs.

Yankees over Cleveland
Dodgers over San Fran

Yanks and CC should shut down Cleveland. Lee for Cleveland is off to a horrible start. He is due for a not so great year. Dodgers pounding the ball right now and are opposing Zito who is only a shadow of his former self. San Fran is also not a very good team. No reason why this parlay should not win.



Next four are dogs. Hard to go too wrong with dogs.

Florida +109 vs Atlanta………..Why not take the best team so far this year in the NL East as a dog. Who is this guy pitching for the Braves anyway. I will take my chances.

Washington +116 vs Atlanta………I know the Nats are the worst team in the NL East, but that is not horrible. The NL East is very solid this year. Nats have always been respectable at home and they can hit the ball. Blanton got rocked his first game and the Phillies pitchers have been giving up the long ball this year. Something tells me the Nats hit three or four homers today and outscore the Phillies. Nats way overdue for a win and even though the Phils 4-3 and have won three in a row, I don’t like the way they are playing.

Houston +110 vs Pittsburgh………….I like this Pirate team and bet them to win over 69 games this year, but I have to go against them today. Ortiz for Houston is 8-1 career vs the Pirates and for some reason even though Houston does not appear to be all that good this year, they usually play well vs the Pirates.

St Louis +100 vs Cubs…………..Cubs always lose games they should not. There is a reason this line is this low at Chicago. Cards solid this year and I will take them at even money.



Lets throw in a couple of small favorites.

Toronto -134 vs Minnesota…………HALLADAY. 7-0 career vs Minny. Plus I have been giving Minny too much credit this year. I might start fading them for a while.

Tampa Bay -105 vs White Sox…………I just love this Rays team and they do not seem to be getting much respect this year so far. Nice price to get them at home. I just see value in this game.


Went crazy and bet a lot of games again, but I have been doing ok so far playing this many. It forces me to pay attention to most games and that is how you learn about the teams. First few weeks of the season you have to get a feel for who is who in the upcoming season.
