4-5 dropping 2.95 unit last night. I just cannot get a winning streak started yet this season. I guess the way I am looking at it is I feel I am picking poorly and yet I am still in the plus even though it is not by much…..still better than being in the hole. I know my favorites are killing me this season even though I keep them at -150 or less, but that is always how I have bet baseball and it is very rare that I have a losing season in baseball.

Small card on Monday with only one afternoon game and I took a pass on it. Here is what is left that I like.


Florida +101 vs Arizona…………..Marlin pitcher Nolasco not having the best of years so far, but I know he is much better than his record. Haren for Arizona is the better pitcher this year and his era is way better than Nolasco’s this season. But for their careers Nolasco is 4-0 vs Arizona and beat them three times last year with an era of 1.61. With numbers like that, if he is going to turn it around this might be his best chance. Zona pitcher Haren has no luck at all vs Florida as he is 0-7 vs them. So with all these number I have to take Florida, especially as a home dog.

St Louis -125 vs Milwaukee……………Pretty evenly matched pitchers throwing in this one. Milwaukee has been known as a very solid home team and not as good on the road. I think this is a great price to get the Cards and their explosive offense at home, so I will give it a try.

Atlanta -1.5 (-110) vs Colorado…………….Love Atlanta with Lowe at home vs Colorado. This is not the same offense that we are used to seeing with the Rockies and there is a great chance of them only scoring a couple of runs or less tonight. Only scary part for me in the Braves bats. It seems like it is all or nothing for them. I did not want to lay the -181, so I played the runline. If the Braves win this game it will be in a laugher.

Mets +130 vs Dodgers…………..If Manny was playing I could understand this line, but he is not and I really think the Dodgers are actually slightly over rated at the moment. They had that great run at home to start the season, but now they are facing a real team in the Mets. Mets always worth a shot as a dog. Mets have been one of the hotter teams in the league and they lost last night, so I really like their chances of a win in this one.
