Sucked big time yesTURDay. Hopefully that's out of the way. Every time I get to the + side, I get bombed the very next day and have to climb back up the hill again. Irritating. Played everything but the TEX/TOR game tonight. We'll see how it goes.

Wish I could do write ups for all these games, but it's almost 6:00, and I have other things to do, so obviously typing up my thoughts for 15 plays is not on the agenda, but I did want to give my thoughts on the 2 big dogs....

Jurrjens hasn't been himself in his last 2 starts. Taking a shot there that maybe he's ailing a little, and Morton wants to have a good showing against his old team. I still think the Pirates are a scrappy team with some decent players, and usually worthy of this price when going against any .500 club (ok, one game over) anytime. Of course Morton IS the wild card in all of this, as he's really not that great of a pitcher, and could get bombed, which would be nothing new for him. In that case, I dropped a unit.

Correia is listed for SD for my bet, not Gaudin, who was listed this morning. I think even on short rest, he's worthy of a better line than this. If he didn't feel like he could pitch, he wouldn't be out there. That's how I see it. I mean seriously, when do starters (other than the elite ones) go more than 5 2/3 or 6 1/3 anymore anyway? If he goes 5 or 6, then that's really nothing new. I just don't think LA has been playing that great offensively lately. They're winning, but certainly not due to any type of offensive awesomeness, and I think that there is a good possibility this game could be close tonight. Pads pen is certainly acceptable enough to back in such a situation for a unit at +200, if it comes down to that.

Should Gaudin or anyone else start for SD, the play is no action unless I would repost it with the adjusted line.

LOL no, I live in Pennsylvania. The Expos were always my favorite team though since I was a little kid. I'm not sure why, but they just were. The "Natinals" just aren't the same, but I guess maybe subconsciously I still want to see them win? They have to start getting some wins at some point, don't they?
