GL today Stif, you had a pretty good day yesterday didn't you? I was leaning toward Cleveland today myself, but couldn't get myself to pull the trigger (yet). I can't seem to wrap my head around those two starting pitchers.

I did ok. Would have been better, but I lost the last 4 games. Still ended up winning a few units for the day.

As far as Cleveland, they're just better than STL. STL is a very pedestrian team with a mediocre offense, who should struggle mightily with the AL (also the same reason KC is a strong play over CIN every day, despite the public loving CIN).

STL was winning because of good pitching earlier in the year, but that has certainly fallen off as quickly as Rick Ankiel's home run total once he had to stop juicing, lol, and most days they just can't produce the offense to support guys like Brad Thomson for whom real good outings will be few and far between, especially against AL clubs who can hit and don't have an automatic out (pitcher) in the lineup.

Of course anything can happen on any day, but when TOMO OHKA is pitching for Cleveland and they are still favored, despite about 80% (give or take a few % points) being on STL, that alone says loud and clear who the books like if you ask me.

The same holds true for KC/CIN with the "people's champion" Bronson Arroyo pitching for CIN, the public being all over CIN (a little over 70%), yet "****ty KC" is favored behind a pitcher who is average at best (Davies).
