Another closer can't get it done last night with fatman Jenks pulling the trick this time. I hate todays card, not one side I really like, so I'm playing 3 totals...

Tigers/Orioles UNDER 9 -106 (Verlander/Loewen)
Verlander is sick as we all know, coming off a six inning gem in his first outing...Leftahnder Loewen has all the tools to be a #1 guy, and held the Yanks in check in his first outing. With Verlander, and the struggling Tiger bats facing the big Canadian...I see a low scoring game.

Mariners/Bosox UNDER 8.5 -115 (Felix/Dice-K)
With these two aces on the hill....I really thought this number would be 7.5.

Phillies/Mets OVER 9 -110 (Eaton/Perez)
This one really stood out to me....we got Eaton who is always good for 4/5 runs per start facing that crazy deep Mets lineup, and we also have the BRUTAL Phils bullpen who will probably have to come in after 5/6 innings. On the other side Perez starts for the Mets, and although he looked good his first start, he is far from a top of the rotation guy, remember he was 3-13 with a 6.58 era last year, and had an era close to 6 the year b4. He will give up runs. Two explosive lineups, two questionable starters, one heated rivalry....I see alot of crooked numbers.

GL JML, I am looking at all 3 of those. I will be playing the Mets OVER for sure as an Eaton fade. I'm not sold the Phillies lineup is that good though. They have nothing after Burrell in the 5 hole. It's easy to say now because they are 1-6 or whatever, but the Phillies were the most overrated team coming into this season. Adding Freddy Garcia and Adam Eaton was supposed to make their rotation great? I actually think it made it worse. Garcia can't even hit 88mph anymore on the gun, and Eaton flat out sucks since he was hurt in back to back years. What a trade by Kevin Towers getting Adrian Gonzalez and Chris Young to San Diego for Adam Eaton... wow. Rangers would be a force is they had those two players.

Thanks Cuse....nice to see you looking at these 3, as I am not much of a totals player. Yeah...the Mets Over really jumped out at me at 9. I agree about the phillies, but hopefully that top half of the order can get a few. And really, WTF was Gillick thinking signing Eaton to that 24 mil contract? Brutal. Also...a big part of the play was that Philly bullpen...they might give up 9 on their own! LOL

Blue Jays -169 (Chacin) vs Royals
After thinking this over, I don't see how the Jays lose this series. The bats have been white hot, and KC should not be able to compete tonight IMO. Jays had 3 bench players starting yesterday, and their 5th starter in the rotation playing....they'll have their murderer's row back tonight, and a healthy #3 in Chacin ready to go...
