Actually getting a chance to look at early games today. Going to end up making some soft calls. I hate both TEX and CLE so just going to ignore that game. I thought perhaps MIL was going to turn things around some last week but am starting to realize just how bad that team sucks. I think they probaby win today, but no way could I justify laying -210 on a team playing that poorly going against an unknown pitcher for SD. Just best to stay away IMO. So here's some actual early game plays...

BOS -102 ML to win 2 units
This is a soft call... but really getting BOS at essentially even money in this situation is reasonable. DET may be without Cabrera, and they just don't strike me as a mentally tough team that can pick themselves up on the road without one of their best players. They may be just looking to get home again to lick their wounds and beat up on KC in their next series.

If Aramis Ramirez remains out of the lineup... then...
PHI -139 ML to win 1 unit
PHI +110 RL risk 1 unit
Ramirez destroys left handers and his presence changes the dynamic for the Cubs offense in a big way. If he's in the lineup, then I stay away. Just too many variables can't be accounted for with how his shoulder is feeling... the psychological pick-me-up the Cubs get from his presence... etc. This will be a last minute call.

Parlay COL/MIN MLs +129 risk 1 unit
I can't really stomach laying -168 on MIN cause they've been a headache for me. But I actually really like them in this game. So I'll add COL to the ticket to try to get a better price. Most worrisome part here is the 4 team heavy chalk parlay that hit last night... so eventually one of these is going to go down.
