GL, Stif
And what's the deal with the 5dimes "reduced"? I am strictly a Pinnacle/Bet365 guy, but I signed on with 5 dimes for the bases contest, and have been playing a bit with them now. I see that in NHL/MLB reduced is there sometimes and not others. Also...if reduced IS there...why would you ever go into the normal lines?? Just wondering. GL today...Go Cubs.... |

Well, I feel like the Flubs was another good play gone right down the toilet. Once again the Cards do absolutely nothing against the LHP outside of one long ball by Wilson. An outing like that from Lilly would be a winner 85-90% of the time.....with the 10-15% being when I've bet on him of course.
Feels like when I'm playing poker and I move in big knowing I have the best hand after the flop, and keep getting burned on the river, which also seems to happen to me alot ![]() Only thing I can feel good about is that alot of my picks seem to be good ones, as the things I expect to happen are actually pretty often happening, so I don't see any need to change anything, just hope for some better luck as the season rolls on. So now, I suppose I will try some more of these night games.... Phils/Reds over 9.5 -110 Lieber has shown nothing, and Lohse still sucks. One outing does not a pitcher make....or even two. Historically he's garbage, and I fail to believe that he has all of a sudden become a good pitcher. Both teams can hit too, and both have pretty bad bullpens, especially the Phillies, and they're playing in a hitters park. This looks like a no brainer....which is why it will end 1-0, but I'm playing the over anyway. Nationals +145 I said it last time he pitched, I like this Hill guy from Washington. I think he's a good pitcher. I'll back him again at this huge price. Florida's pitching has been giving up alot of runs, and their bullpen has been walking guys left and right. Outstanding value, and i'd almost go as far as to say the wrong team is favored IF the Nats could ever start getting some key hits. Braves -105 Hudson > Pelfrey. Seems Hudson is back to being dominant so far this season, so I'm giving him a chance to keep it rolling tonight. Oakland A's +105 McCarthy was supposed to be the next dominant starter for the White Sox. But, obviously that never happened. Why? Because he sucks. He can't get a lefty out to save his life, and I believe that gives the A's a huge advantage tonight, since most of their home run power comes from the left side of the plate. KC Royals +110 I can't believe I am backing Odalis Perez, but I am. He's no worse than Ponson, and KC has been playing respectable ball. Getting them at + odds at home against lard ass Ponson is good value to me. Colorado +105 San Diego is finding ways to lose, much like the Flubs. They can't produce with RISP, and when you score 1 or 2 runs a game, it doesn't matter how good your pitching is, you still will lose more than you win. Again, I see nice value in taking the home dog here. SF Giants/Arizona over 9 -115 With the way the Giants have been hitting lefties I can see them getting their fair share of runs tonight....and originally I was going to play SF here for that reason, but decided that backing Russ Ortiz wasn't in my playbook. IMO he's a ticking time bomb waiting to explode, or be exploded upon by the opposing bats i should say, lol....so I decided the over was a better play. 2 units each |

Ponson was part of my play. I have KC winning but I'm 0-2 on dogs this year. +=janx LOL. KC just now coming back home after a week and a half on the road. Won both their first game of a series at home and IMO will be glad to be back home.
