Decent night Thursday night. I went 2-1 (+1.62 units). Nice thing was that both winners were dogs and my favorite play loser was only -113. I had every intention of playing on Friday night, but something came up and I did not make it back home in time.

Interleague play started on Friday. I have not had a winning season with just interleague play since it has started. But in the words of a gambler “Maybe this year will be different.” I think interleague is a blast for the players and fans, but a nightmare for the gambler. If anybody knows any secrets, please share. I am just hoping I do not destroy all my profits so far on one weekend. At least it is only this weekend and not an extended period of time. It actually seems kind of funny that they are doing it this way. I guess more will come later. Here is what I have come up with. Be extra cautious following my plays this weekend. Here is what I have come up with for Saturday and I sort of feel like a I guessing. Did not get home in time today to play the 1:00 game. I might have taken a shot with the braves at +240. I know the huge dog will come in now that I did not play it.



Mets -127 vs Yankees……….Just like Glavine here. He is having a decent year and the Yanks could not have seen him very many times. Mets have a chance to kick the Yankees while they are down. I hope they do.

Baltimore -138 vs Washington………..No doubt the nats are playing better, but they still suck and are still the worst team in baseball, even more so the Kansas City. I have read somewhere that this Baltimore pitcher is supposed to be pretty good as well. More of a play against Washington though.

Phillies -149 vs Toronto………….This one barely made my -150 rule. I am looking for the phillies to sweep the blue jays this weekend. They won last night with only three hits. I see an offensive explosion today with the tricky pitching of oldman Moyer for the fightin phils.



Florida -125 vs Tampa Bay……………..Simply a play on Willis today. Nice odds to get him. He has not looked very good at all this year and I think this is why the line is only -125. Marlins should be able to score on Seo too. His quirky windup may be hard to pick up for Tampa Bay.



I think I better stop at four plays today. Trust me when I tell you these are forced plays, except for the phillies, I do like them and if I had to pick one game as a best bet today, it would be the phillies. I think at the end of the night if I end up 2-2 I might be happy. That tells me it is probably a mistake to bet today. I never said I was smart.
