May 23rd bases with flmmkrz

Didn't get around to capping yesterday as I was recovering from my trip out east but like the card today, here's my plays:

Baltimore -120 to win 1 unit

No huge reasoning needed here. Great value on the better pitcher at home> Trachsel should be hittable for the jays but the O's should have a field day with McGowan.

Yanks - 132 to win 1 unit

Plenty of value in this line as well. Pettittes numbers vs the sox looks inflated this year as he saw them 3 times in a span of a week. Any big league line up will get a beat on a pitcher after that turnaround. Schills been hittable and I have the yanks as bigger faves than this coming into this one so at this price, no brainer for me.

Mets - 113 to win 1 unit

Mets have pounded James thru his career while perez has been very solid vs the braves thru his. Braves bats have struggled at home this season while the mets are a good road hitting team and destroying lefties. Good match up for the mets.

Tribe - 166 to win 1 unit

Elarton sucks period. Lee is a solid starter who while he hasn't pitched greatly has enough stuff to get him thru this outing. Tribe are hitting rh pitching well this season while kc is a palty .244 against lefties. A much better price than I was expecting in this one.

Pitt + 100 x 1 unit

Late money made this a play for me. Wells has been way to wild as of late and has been pitching terribly. As bad as the bucs bats have been they should be able to make good on the free bases that wells has been giving up. Snell is good enough to trouble the cards bats tho he has had his struggles vs them in the past. Enough value to make this a play for me.

Philly -119 to win 1 unit

Another later addition as the money on the fish has created value on the phils for me. Freddy seems to be getting his act together on the mound and if he continues that trend the fish should have a tougher time at the plate in this match up.

Dodgers - 130 to win 1 unit

Both pitchers looking for bounce back games today but Cap has shown a history of being worse on the road which isn't good for his bats as they are less potent away from home as well. Neither pitcher has been overly effective against each others line up but all the history shows that the dodgers have a better chance for success in this one, so that's where I'm putting my money.

Detroit -101 to win 1 unit

Durbin has looked sharper with each outing while Colon continues to pitch well but the tigers have a line up full of guys who have hit Colon well while Durbin has the edge of not having faced many of the halo bats before. At this price there is plenty of value on the home team.

Washington + 160 x 1 unit

Plenty of value here as Lohses value is inflated from his hot start that still has his era looking decent but he's been inconsistant during his last few outing and very much hittable. The nats are more than likely to lose this one but at this price there is more than enough value to make this a play for me.

Feels like I'm playing the full card lol. Return to posting in a big way I guess, hope it goes well. GL all.
