Bonderman hasn't pitched in over 2 weeks due to injury, and was not pitching well before the DL. LA's bats are smoking...

Pirates +120 (Gorzelanny) vs Cards - 3 Units
Love this one. Bucs trying to avoid the sweep with their best starter on the hill, who has owned the Cards this year (2 starts, 15+ innings, 1 ER). Looper coming off his worst performance. Don't see the Cards doing much this afternoon after their horrible offence scored 9 and 5 runs the last 2 games.

Padres -134 (Young) vs Cubs - 3 Units
SD throws out one of the best righties in the NL who is a monster at home, and Marquis looks to be reverting back to his old self after a good start.

how could you not have faded the REDS today??.......think i am going to have to nix that trade in our league.....i think you are giving up way too much with a top 5 player.....Burnett sucks and Helton is an average 1B. Explain your reasoning if you would for making the trade. You said you needed pitching help...Burnett is no better than anything you have. Heck, i would have traded you something for him and given you better than that....

You think Howard is top 5? He's ranked 24 preseason...and is only HR/RBI most years (but nothing this year). I've lost strikeouts every week, need SOs badly...Burnett is getting 10 every game, and will be top 5 in SOs at the end of the year. Howard is hurt, and I don't believe he will be fully healthy all year...and HRs and RBI's is not my problem. Helton is having a typical good year (361 AVG, 1.018 OPS) ...and I can platoon him and Youklis who is having a monster start (4th best overall 1B Numbers in the whole pool) and bats in the middle of that powerful Sox lineup. Really just selling off Howard before it comes out that he is gone for the year, or at least the 60 day DL. Howard does not have top 20 value right now so...much like you and Sheffield, I'm bailing. Howard might turn it around like Shef....but I don't think so...so I'm happy to bail on him and get a strikeout monster instead of nothing in a month. I could be very wrong...you're right...but what the hell...I was trying to switch my ****ty team up a bit. It's a free league after all...and I suck. LOL!

As for the Reds....faded them the last two...decided to lay off this one....what I'm pissed about is laying off the the Tribe...really had it as a play, then took it off for some reason.

no problem- if you want to make the trade i will let it go. i just think you could have gotten a lot more for Ryan howard. I would have given you a better pitcher in that package.....
