this is the bull**** world we now live in....the entitlement era and the era of non-responsibility. His kid gets pasted at a bar and is driving drunk on a cell phone without a seat belt, and dear old dad is gonna sue everyone he can. Have yet to hear him come out and say it is unfortunate the choice his son made and he hopes others learn from this......noooooo, just like when the 16 year old black kid stole the car in LA a couple years back and led police on a chase, then tried to run the cops over with the car before the cops shot his ass.....then old scooter's mom says....little scooter was just bein a kid, he didn't do nothin', and those cops are all to blame......WHEN ARE FKING PEOPLE GOING TO START TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ACTIONS IN THIS WORLD??....

don't know if you've ever been to Shannon's place, but it is pretty cool and it is always packed before and after the games....they do a post game show from there a lot of times...about 2 blocks from the stadium......

Hate to see that happen, but it's even worse when ya sue someone in "the family"...Mike Shannon a standup third baseman and longtime color man for the Cards on KMOX....yea, it's his fault that El Stupido had too much to drink, had pot in his car, and drove over the speed limit and was distracted while impaired while talking on his cell phone. Sorry about the loss of your son but doesn't he bear the brunt of the responsibility for his OWN ACTIONS....

fun place...stumbled to hotel last year and slept till next day after an afternoon there..lots of fun ...

I got to agree with Hancock's Dad...

He should also sue the cellphone company for making a portable phone, his girlfriend for talking to him while driving, the car company for not making an automatic seatbelt, the drug dealer for selling him cronic, and the city for not padding the ditches with pillows.

I heard this yesterday and thought it was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. A guy called into the Rome show today and asked if he could sue the bartender because he got drunk and got someone pregnant - LOL!

this is what is wrong with the country today. noone wants to take responsibility. if it were my son who lost his life i would be devastated but i wouldnt be looking for scapegoats. Hancock took it upon himself to get impaired (in whatever fashion) and he is the one responsible. I feel bad for the family but they need to realize where the blame lies.
