NY Mets -143

Tough assignment for Lincecum here. He's looked great, but this isn't the ****ty Astros he's facing, but the hot and far more talented Mets. Delgado has finally gotten it together, and the Mets are just the far better team here. Oliver Perez has been, dare I say, superb this season, and I don't think past numbers of anyone against him means anything because he was a completely different pitcher in the past. Every advantage I can possibly see goes to the NYM here, and I think at -143 they're cheap. If you like the Mets I'd suggest getting it in early, cause I see this one going up.

Chicago White Sox +120

The Twins have never been all that great vs LHP, nor Danks, who has managed to post a very respectable 2.84 ERA in 12 2/3 IP against the Twins. The White Sox offense has started to get it's **** together recently with the return of Thome and with Jermaine Dye coming around, and for these reasons I see a small advantage for them today, and at +120, that's enough for me.

Florida Marlins +125

IMO this is completely the wrong fave with the way the Flubs have fared against LHP. They hit ****ty Mark Hendrickson a little on Saturday night, but then on Sunday, they were right back to posting zeros when the quality of the LHP improved with Randy Wolf. Willis has had a shaky season, but he's still got the talent to shut down an offense who hasn't shown the ability to hit a decent lefty all season. I am a bit worried that the public is on this dog early on, but then again, they're always on Willis....so I guess it's no surprise.

LA Angels -145

Good home team, good home pitcher. Seattle's offense is hot, but starting pitching is pretty much always a question mark with them unless it's Felix or Washburn taking the mound. That is not the case today, and I expect the Angels to get their share off the AAA callup Ryan Feierabend. While Seattle's offense is totally on fire, avergaging 10 runs per game in their last 5 games and winning 6 of their last 7, that was pretty much all against KC and TB. The Angels have one of the best records in MLB, and were pretty hot themselves until getting stomped last night, and I think tonight provides a good matchup for them to bounce back to their winning ways, while Seattle's offense has nowehere to go but back to earth once they start facing some better pitching, as no one scores 10 runs per game for long.

Toronto and KC are also on my list to play today, although I think those lines will move in my favor so i'm holding off a bit to see what happens there and then make a decision.

GL....couldn't agree more with the Fish and Halos. Was also looking real hard at the Mets too...big difference for that kid between the Stros and Mets...
