June 4th bases with flmmkrz

Small sched for the 4th and not a lot I like... that may be an understatement I like one game:

Brew Crew -117 to win 1 unit

One game isn't changing much for the cubbies, they are a mess and the crew are seriously undervalued in this one. Bush is another case of the huge splits between road and home performances. Lifetimes he's over 5 on the road and under 4 at home. This year he hasn't been at his best by any means but 4.7 at home, over 7 on the road. Marquis is having a good year but he's played a lot of bad hitting teams and his results vs the talented squads hasn't been nearly as good. The crew are a good hitting team in their yard and are solid vs right handed pitching. NOt many of the batters have a lot of experience vs Marquis but those who do have a significant amount of bats vs him have hit him well. The Brew also have the better pen to fall back on. Marquis has the better record and may be a better pitcher but the way the cubs are reeling getting a more complete team for this price is a no brainer for me.

I'll watch the line movement and maybe something will hit a target number but as of right now Im just sitting on this one

well I caved and added a play I was going to avoid but I can't resist the value.

KC + 147 x 1 unit

No pitcher goes undefeated the entire season it doesn't happen and especially not with the rays line up behind him who can make any pitcher look like a jobber or an ace on any given day. The KC line up is nothing special but they do have batters who can get hits off Shields and have decent discipline at the plate, whether they can string some hits together to get runs is the question. Meche can be absolutely filthy when he's on and this match up should provide him a good opportunity to be on. Meche is also pitching much better on the road this season,a trend thats different off his career numbers but given his monster contract the expectations at home may just be a bit too heavy. The rays aren't swinging the bats well as a team, are weaker vs right handed pitching and are slightly worse hitting at home. The rays are a free swinging squad so Meche should be able to get the rays chasing and grounding out quite a bit while chasing. Meche is trying to bust out of a 5 game losing streak, a factor I'm sure hasn't escaped him while playing a bad rays team. All in all, these are 2 good pitchers going for 2 bad teams, why one is favored by this much is beyond me. Gimme the value on the royals.

Agreed. Last night -160 made some sense with Elarton on the mound, not with Meche. GL tonight flmmkrz, I'll be on the Brewers tonight as well I think.

well it was a loser but still glad I made the play. Meche pitched a 4 hitter while he was in and got beaten by a guy throwing a 2 hitter. -1 unit on kc

bought out of my brewers play. Late movement on the line is insane so theres gotta be something I dont know better safe than sorry
