That was quicker than I expected. LOL.
Looks like Padilla's out, and a minor-league lefty is in. I checked Pinny and, as usual I had only Robertson seleceted, so it is still a play. I usually only select the pitcher I'm backing for this very reason. If my pitcher is scratched, I'm not backing a reliever or call-up on the same line...BUT if the opposing pithcer is scratched, I'm getting the better part of revised the line. Padilla is so ****ty, it should be about the same here though. LOL. GL... Last edited by JohnnyMapleLeaf; 06-05-2007 at 01:42 PM.. |

I believe the reason for the low Angels/Twins total may be partly due to that until last time against Baltimore, Escobarf had only given up 1 run in his last 3 starts at home, totaling 24 innings pitched. Who knows, I'm not much of a totals player, lol. It seems though, that Escobarf is either complete domination, or total **** every time he pitches.
Florida looks like a nice play for game 1 too, although the line has dropped with a pretty strong public opinion on Florida. I might go with it anyway though. GL |

Seriously though, I see Schmidt getting hit hard like he pretty much has for the better part of the last 2 or 3 seasons, and definitely see the Dodgers getting to 3 at the very least, meaning at worst a push. I could be way off here, but I see the total as being so low because of the pitchers park, the name Jason Schmidt, and Young having success lately, plus the SD bullpen being tough, and I played it because I think it's off, and that it's set so low for some wrong reasons. I wouldn't have played it at 8.5, and it'll probably lose because I lose just about every time I side with the public. I swear, the big public plays could go 10-1 on a given day and the 1 loss would be the one that i picked to side with em, LOL ![]() |

It was the OVER...I revised it...
I think it has a lot to do with the name "Schmidt" for sure....we'll see...like I said in your thread..I liked it earlier this morning, but Young scared me off...but the fact the dodgers already hammered him once this year made it a play... GL... |
