Getting this one in early before the line goes up. Homer Bailey gives us a generous line tonight, but that doesn't change the fact that the Reds suck and are probably the worst team in the entire MLB. Texas and KC may have slightly worse records, but they both play in a far more competitive league, while the Reds play in the worst division in baseball, hands down.

Add to it that the Reds have to face a LHP tonight, against which they also suck.

Facing the Tribe will be no easy task for a rookie making his first start either, no matter how good he's supposed to be, and Bailey is likely to go what, probably 5 or 6 innings? And then the brutal Reds bullpen (also worst in the league) has to come in and face a good AL offense for just under half the game.

One of the best teams in the league facing probably the worst team in baseball. This is a complete steal at -130. This line is off by nearly a full dollar IMO....unless the Reds suddenly found a way to produce vs LHP and either traded for a whole new bullpen, or Homer is even better than people think and he's gonna shut the Tribe down for the whole 9 innings....but i'll take my chances that he's just another guy who's going to be decent, and might be shaky in his first MLB start against a good offense, and will be replaced no later than the 6th inning like most first timers are.

More later, but I wanted to get this before it hit -150 or more if it's going to.

KC Royals RL +1.5 -105

Garcia no stranger to KC, and he pretty much sucks anyway. Phils pen is no better. I'll take the free +1.5 runs in a toss up.

Texas Rangers +115

Brewers overvalued again. I know Texas blows, but the Brewers aren't far behind, if not worse. They started 25-11 and are now 33-27. That's 8-16 in their last 24 games. That sucks, and I don't know how it justifies them being a road fave over an AL team. They got abused hard last time they left the ****ty NL Central, and I wouldn't be shocked if it happened again.

Boston/Arizona over 8.5 +100

If 86% of the public wants to play the under, I'll fade them, lol. Seriously, it's not surprising to see 86% on an over or a fave, but when you see numbers like that on a dog or an under, it's probably a good play to fade.

Seattle Mariners +120

Another undervalued AL team IMO. SD has been winning, and is a quality team, but the AL is just superior. Batista doesn't concern me as much when facing a weak NL line up as he would facing an AL powerhouse. Germano is due to get hit. Hopefully it's tonight against an M's line up that really doesn't have too many holes in it.
