Usually a ML kinda guy, this one really is too tough. Nothing should be stopping Wells from shutting the poor lefty hitting Cubbies down. Pads lineup is pretty weak as well, and Lilly is prolly steaming to get out there and regain his earlier form. Last 5 games between these two teams haven't gone over 8. Workin on updating the record... not worried there as I'll be upping my bets soon, just means I can't make big money errors when that time comes.

Awww crap. I won my first bet of the day again... I always say I should stop, never do, and end up paying for it. Cutting down on my play alot thou, working on finalizing the system I'm going to ride big in the 2nd half.

I'm only seeing ORANGE tonight...


ORIOLES 1st 5 Innings (-145) = *2.9 Units
- Arizona is like the worst lefty hitting team in baseball. Put them in a park most of them haven't even been to and put the strikeout leading lefty on the mound against them and you should have a fat 0 after 5 for the D-Backs. Owings numbers are a little forgiving to his stuff I think, especially considering he's on the road where he's lacking experience.


TIGERS (-120) = *2.4 Units
- Tigers just have a more well rounded lineup or guys who can get hits, and guys who can drive them in. Also like the pitching matchup in this one. Lieber isn't going to be an all-star ever again, and I'm not fooled by his 11 K outing vs. the ROYALS!


METS (+160) = *1.5 Units
- Just fading the Rocket and the streak. Scared though, because line movement shows Yankee favor, and for every 1 guy betting on the Rocket, there's 2 fading him. Really just feel that the Mets & Yankees have to go the other direction sometime. See a good opportunity tonight, and at a very nice price.

ATHLETICS (-200) = *3 Units
- A's just play better with Haren on the mound now. They're making amends.

DODGERS (-125) = *2 Units
- Dodgers have lost the last 5 in this rivalry, they are back home, Angels coming from 6 day road trip, Santana blows on the road. It's sooo worth it.

Niiice. So I'm down to two methods of making picks. I only chose 1 of them for tonight. And boy am I glad I chose the one I did. The other system went 1-6 today.


However, I chased out with a cool 10.5 Units with a (5-0-1) night.
