 And.... THANK YOU SHANNON STEWART! Started the day a perfet 3-0... only playing games I really like so I don't blow it all. -- Some lefty matchups I like tonight in the 7 PMers... TIGERS 1st 5 Innings (-180) = *3.6 UNITS - Bacsik has been getting clobbered. Meet the best lefty hitting team in the majors. Not expecting 15-1... but Bonderman has been solid at home and on the road. I'm taking 1st 5 to avoid a Nasty Nats comeback like on Monday. METS RL -1.5 (+105) = *3 UNITS - The Twins have been beating lefties, which they are weak against. Winning their last 5 against lefites, put O. Perez on the mound in Shea and I think we got the makings of a streak snapper. Came close to pulling the trigger on the Dodgers at +150, but it is the first day of summer... it's a Halladay. Also like the Red Sox, but Chipper and Edgar own Who-lian, and they could make it ugly. But Carlyle has been getting lucky with his 1-run wins IMO.

The last few picks for tonight... didn't like much else. ROYALS 1st 5 Innings (-120) = *3 UNITS - Meche has a 1.66 ERA on the road and is 1-2. Basically that means betting Royals for the full game seems pointless. Wellemeyer is only going to pitch 3-4 anyways, and he's the one I'm fading. ROCKIES RL +1.5 (-110) = *2 UNITS - This game is alot closer to a pick'em than at +/- 150 line. Two lefties that can go deep into the game, I think this one will be a bullpen blow job, and either way should be a close 3-4 or 4-5 game. >>ROCKIES ML (+145) = *1 UNIT CUBBIES (-120) = *1.5 UNITS - Just don't see Loe deserving a line this low. Ha. That's all folks!
