Well, this line certainly does seem like a trap. But I don't see the mystery to Durbin, he blows... everybody knows it... so why the low chalk? Phils bats must be ready to unload on El Dueque or there's some bullpen issues. Hope he can keep it together through the 5th and then just let all hell break loose. BOLT!

GL DD BTW, Jdurbin has only pitched 2/3 of an inning in the bigs since '04.. He got his welcoming party by the ROX in april, and couldnt get out of the 1st.

Phew! Mets were on the verge of blowing it for everybody... glad I had a worry free 1st 5 innings. And tha over!!

Curious...why only the 5 inning play on Toronto? They have the 2nd or 3rd best bullpen in the AL!

Based on ERA the Jays pen is ranked 2nd in the AL. The Mariners are 4th.

However, let's look at the bullpen's records.

Mariners (16-4)

I rather just leave that matchup out of my bet.

For tonight...

PADRES 1st 5 Innings (-120) = *4.1 Units

RUN IN THE FIRST INNING = NO (-135) = *1.9 Units

Really, this is the fishiest line I've seen in awhile. Chris Young against 1-3 6.33 ERA Kuo. The guy might as well be named Cy Young. I say that adds -020 of chalk just cause his name. And it's at -115? Dodgers at home on a friday night. Whatever. In case you are wondering the trend is... Dodgers are 21-6 in their last 27 Friday games. Dodgers are 6-0 in their last 6 during game 1 of a series.

I say, more the reason to bet against them. Just cause Kuo beat the Pads in PETCO (huge pitcher's park) don't mean jack ****. It's not like he was getting ground balls. Young has my nod to start the damn all-star game. Oh the trend is... Dodgers are 1-5 in Kuo's last 6 starts.

Kuo would be LUCKY to do as well as he did in PETCO. Padres hit lefties better, and games he starts the opponent scores 6.2 runs on average. Padres score 4 they should win this game. The Dodgers are coming off a crazy long road trip and the Pads are coming from a day off down from SF. If there's some sort of inevitable trend curse then I hope it happens in the 2nd half of the game. Last time the Pads pulled 5 in the bottom of the 9th to win it, I guess I'll succumb to the idea of the Dodgers doing the same tonight. BOLT!

Lol, come on bro......lets be honest here, Penny is the best pitcher in the N.L and Peavy a close 2nd, Peavy has a chance to show everyone that he should be starting the allstar game tomorrow night but as of right now you and I both know Penny has the upper hand.
