Damn Rays had a runner in scoring position 3 out of 5 innings... I need to stick to the totals and should have just taken the under when I like an underdog pitcher... that's twice I've made this mistake in the past couple days. Well on a 4 game losing streak now, here's what I'm putting together for the rest of the day...


D-BACKS/BREWERS = BREW CREW (-165) = *6.6 UNITS

GIANTS/CUBBIES = Pass... Lean on the OVER 7.5 (-120)

ROCKIES/NATIONALS = TBD

INDIANS/RANGERS = TBD

PHILLIES/PADRES = TBD

METS/DODGERS = TBD

Take a look at this Nats game... The Rockies have only been road favorites 3 times this year. Only thing to expect from the past is RUNS RUNS RUNS.

Only three games the Rockies were favored on the road...

Tonight they've got Ubaldo Jimenez on the mound against Matt Chico. 1st off Ubaldo is their best AAA pitcher... He's 8-5 in 19 (103 IP) starts w/ a 5.85 ERA & 1.67 WHIP. On top of that he's got 62 BB's and 89 K's. Yes, he is the best they have down there. The only reason he's getting a start is because Buchholz is far more valuable (if he is at all) as a reliever. Ubaldo will not cut it in the majors, and a team like Washington might even be able to show him that. The Nats are 7-3 at home this year behind Chico, no reason to think that he won't bounce back at home after his last start. Nats pen has even started to come around... I look at the Rockies pen and it's just full of has been closers... (Hawkins, Julio, Fuentes, Affeldt, Herges). With all this in mind, the Rockies do crush lefties, so there's no way they don't put up a few tonight... I feel strongly however that this is the Nationals game to lose. The OVER is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings, and the Nationals have dropped the last 8 meetings (5 of them in DC). It's time the Nats ended up on top of one of these slugfests.

Nice write up on the Nats game...Was thinking bout playing the over as well but am just going to stick to the Nats...I think Ubaldo gets welcomed to the majors tonight in a good way for us..
