my thoughts:

i think my cubbies may drop one today; no real reasoning behind it as hill's numbers have been much better than owings as of late but i expect owings to bounce back after his last five losses...

i see penny being the best hope to avoid the sweep at home for the dodgers as hendrickson is pitching tomorrow... let's see if sosa's hamstring will hold up...

after getting smoked at home by the reds and losing to st louis again last night, the braves are just 1-4 in their last 5 games AT HOME... i dont see them dropping another one tonight... carlyle has said he's going to pitch aggressively to everyone.. hopefully he can handle pujols...

finally, im going with the pads at home 2nite... the two old men show up in what is the 2nd oldest starting pitchers duel... moyer has gotten absolutely ROCKED lately posting a 10.xx ERA... this is wells' first game back from his suspension and i think he may have something to prove...
