LA Dodgers (-110) - I like the Dodgers again. Astros are 2-10 with Jennings on the mound, 0-7 at home. Jennings' ERA is 6.3 in his last 7. Even though Hendrickson has been much better in relief, I like the Dodgers bullpen with a lead over the Astros trying to come back. Leaning towards playing the 5 inning under too, I'll post it later if I do.

Chicago Cubs (-140) - Don't want to sound biased or overbearing, but who could even think about playing the Cardinals here. One of the best pitchers in the game since the beginning of June vs a 4-12 pitcher. The Cardinals are 4-17 in games where he pitches. I guess the line is only at -140 due to Wells' last outing, but I don't think he'll have another one near that productive. There isn't near enough value to play the underdog Cards here.

Really like the over (8.5) in the Chi/StL game as well. I'll look into that as well as some 5 inning plays a little closer to game time and likely be back to post them.

Nice call on the Cubs-Good game overall! Pujouls going 0-5 really helped the cubs along with rolen's error.

What do you think for tonights game? Hard to bet on your team and usually layoff but wanted to get a cubs fan perspective too.

It was indeed a good game. Keeping Pujols quiet is always a big plus.

Both pitchers are pitching well as of late. Lilly has won 5 straight and hasn't lost since June 5, and Wainwright has won three straight. Lilly pitched well vs the Cardinals earlier this year giving up 2 runs in 7 innings but did take the loss. I think it will be another very good, close game, and I'm no where near confident on either side to make a play and will definitely lay off this game. The only play I would consider making on this game is the Under (8.5) as I think the final score comes out 3-2, either way.
