Back from my 16 day vacation in Hawaii. It was great, but it is a long vacation and I was ready to come back. Preseason football gets underway this weekend and the real stuff will not be far behind. In the meantime we still have bases to try and make some more cash for football season. I watched sportscenter every night in Hawaii, so I am not completely lost. It was very strange with the time change of six hours to be getting baseball scores at 8:00 in the morning on weekends. On to today’s games.

St Louis -119 vs Pittsburgh…………Cards seem to be coming around again like last year, while the pirates are just a bad baseball team. I like there young talent, but there is just something missing there. Looper against the pirates this year is 2-0, with an era of only 0.69. I have to give this one a shot.

Atlanta -139 vs Houston…………….It might be time for the braves to make a push in the nl east standings. They seemed to have helped themselves with some key trades and are playing a Houston team who just under achieves. The Stros are only 18-35 on the road. I am a little shocked this line is only -139 in Atlanta. I just see great value in the braves tonight.

Mets -110 vs Milwaukee…………As much as I hate the Mets, they just keep winning games. They lost last night, so I really like there chances tonight. Brewcrew are still hanging on to first place but are not playing like a first place team. Milwaukee has a great home record, but I am willing to overlook that tonight. Mets have seemed to find a way to pull away from the rest of the pack every time somebody gets close to them in the division and right now Atlanta and my phillies are making a move.

I was going to take my phillies with Moyer pitching, but the cubs have just been too hot to go against right now. I am betting off just kicking back and watching that one.

That is all for Wednesday. I am still having a decent season being up over 20 units, although I was in the mid thirties at one point this year. If I get cold and drop below 10 units, I will hang up my spikes for this year. Hopefully that won’t happen. I don’t want to blow any money for this upcoming football season.
