- Hirsh made 3 rehab starts down in AAA. First two were no good. His last one he shut down Omaha for 1 run. Omaha would go on to score 24 runs in the following 3 games. He looked good before he left putting the Mets down... he looks to be coming back in the same form.
- Young Vandenhurk got knocked around by the GIANTS last time. Rockies tee off on righties, and that's all they'll see tonight most likely with both Florida lefties used last night.

- Zito hasn't had 3 bad starts in a row all year. I'm a Zito fader as much as anyone, but I'm also familiar with his work ethic. He'll be out there ready to bounce back from the shelling the Dodgers handed to him at the beginning of the year. Dodgers haven't been touching lefties lately, and Zito should be primed to make a statement tonight with a wicked curve. I can't back the Giants bullpen on the road, but if Barry finally drops one early, this one should be the Giants game to lose.
