Yea, but it's a baseball card, lol. I mean if someone would pay $5400, knowing they could get $10,000 and sell it as an investment guaranteed to make a profit, then yea, I can see the point....but in the end, someone somewhere is going to buy that card just to say they own it, and that's tough to comprehend.

I guess I just don't get it, lol

Thats what I do... Buy low, sell High ........ btw, 1 of these same cards sold for $25,000.00... Not bad, for an investment of less than $100.00..

When i was younger, a kid on the block's father was an avid card collector.... I used to let him swim in my pool in exchange for a couple cards every time. 15 years later I feel pretty bad about it, but hell I got rookie cards of every good baseball player from 1981-1990 (I have 3 of the Fleer Bonds rc), plus Mario Lemieux's rookie & some football cards too. I can only imagine what happened when his father found out
