MLB Humping Day 8/29
One a side note, the Mariners are turning to ****. I kinda knew they were going to with all the games they have to play without an off day. They didn't get any help from the umps last night either, as the guy (Matthews, Jr) who scored the go ahead run was out TWICE before he scored. Once he whiffed looking and the ump blew the call (ok subjective), and the second time he was thrown out at second on a steal attempt, and the ump just plain missed it I guess. Had he been called out EITHER time, the inning would have been over with no damage. In any case, they still blew a 5-0 lead (Ervin Santana freakin BLOWS), and they are falling fast. Even worse, they picked up RICK ******* WHITE. That guy SUCKS. No chance in hell I would bet them today, and I may be against them after I get a chance to look into the game.
ANYWAY: ytd 463-470 (+42.31 units) Nats RL +1.5 -140 COL/SFG over 8 -110 2 units each Penny gives the public a stiffy, but Hill is every bit as effective. I'm thinking close game here...and I think there's value with both the ML and RL, but I chose the RL because I think it has a far better chance to cash. Lowry has **** numbers vs COL and Francis has **** numbers vs SF. Hoping that continues today....
