If available on the card, I have been taking 3 dogs, around +200 or more, and play all ml:

-win 1 break around even, win 2 or 3 +money


--Only problem, I have been gettin' a lot of win1's....



This morning, I tried something different, & my 3 bets were:

cws +180
tbd +270
2 team parlay, cws/tbd: both RL +396



This opens the door for 1 dog to win(break around even), and the other dog could lose, but only by 1, result +money, with only 1 win.

i know this is a day old thread but im new to betting on baseball just wanted to know what value you guys seen in tampa yesterday with what I seen everything leaned toward the yankees, with petite winning 11 in a row verses them just want to know what yall seen that I didnt. thx for the info by the way I didnt bet the yankees yesterday... lol

j28715, it was a case of the odds being too high. Although everything "pointed to" a Yankees win the Yankees wouldn't win by more than 1.5 runs often enough to justify a price of +1.5 +160 for Tampa Bay.

The true odds for TB +1.5 were about +115!

It's hard to really break it down in this case, but that's how you have to look at it. TB wasn't likely to win, but they managed to do so.

in every game, a side has a 50/50 chance of winning(simple math)!!!!

if you bet exclusively on favorites (avg -150) you would need to hit 60% to break even..

if you bet exclusively on dogs (avg +150) you would need to hit 40% to break even...

when you get a dog +1.5, your odds of winning has increased, knowing that at least 20% of the games end up within 1 run.

now you have a rl +1.5 (approx 60% chance of winning) at +150...

you only need to hit 40% of those to break even, but you have a 60% chance of winning...
