Two things that I dont get about this series.

Powe does well in game 2 and gets 5 mins in game 3? WTF.

Rondo supposedly has an injury and may miss some time. So the Celtics are going to replace him with EDDIE HOUSE?

Why not Sam Cassell?

What is Doc Rivers smokin'?

Missed the game, but I couldn't believe that when I read the boxscore today....wtf? Especially with Pierce and Garnett throwing up bricks all night!!

Rivers plays his bench players on feel. He has no consistent rotation and a guy like powe can have varying minutes. How he gets a feel on who will help him off the bench is beyong me and an awful coaching strategy, but sometimes he thinks House will be good, sometimes its big baby, and sometimes it powe its just random is what it is.

The absence of Powe in game 3 was a bit of a mystery but as for Sam, well imo he is but a shell of himself. I made the following comment last game,

33/101 (33%) FG, 6/28 (21%) 3 pt may be the reasons Doc goes with Edwin more tonight. It also doessnt help Sams cause for him to have so few assists in the time he's played. In all his minutes he hasnt had more than 2 assists but once (3) and that was in 25 mins of play in game 2 vs. Cle. over a month ago!
Eddie hasnt fared much better (9/33 (27%) FG, 6/16 (38%)) but he has played considerable less minutes than Cassell. Either way I think that Bos is in trouble if they have to rely on either one to run the show. Rondo is only avg. 10 pts per game his post season but its his 7 assists per game they'll miss the most if Sam or Eddie isnt able to pick up their game.
