The Dallas Mavericks have been up to this point one of the worst home teams in the NBA.Their straight up record is a reasonable 18-9 but their ATS record at home is an embarrassing 6-21. In other words, simply going against Dallas at home has been a 77.7% winning position.Now linesmakers don’t like situations like this and particularly ones that are so obvious.They can’t change the outcome of the games but they can adjust the lines to make bettors pay a premium to go against the Mavs at home, or the New Jersey Nets anywhere, or so forth.Squares will continue to bet with the trend and be left with their pockets empty slapping their heads wondering what went wrong.The Mavs are also 15-26 ATS as a favorite.

Los Angeles has covered only three of their L10 games, and are 2-5 ATS as an underdog this year and 0-3 both SU/ATS as a road dog of three or less. This is a dangerous spot for them, off a tough game in Memphis last night where they didn’t play particularly well.
