Vikings -9.5

Call me Joe Public. I bought the line down to -9.5 (-130). There was no way I was going to take it at -10.5. Vikings are at home and playing for the playoffs so they should be ready to play. The Bears playoff hopes are all but a fart in the wind and I think they come out flat and emotionless on the road against the Vikings #1 ground defense (70.7 yds per game).

Orton is going to have to pass a lot and I don't think he gets it done. If the Vikings can put a lid on Hester then I figure 9.5 is a good number.

Also, the line for this game opened at 9.5 and has moved to 10.5 leaving that magic 10 number in the middle. It seems the bookies aren't really worried about middling which makes me think even more that the Vikings will cruise.
