Finally got around to updating my record. Just looking at my record it would seem like I chased & hit big plays, but it's not the case. I'm under .500 because of all the longshot ml plays I play small, as well as hedges. I think next year I'll keep a seperate record for ml plays, but hell all that matters to me is the end result.....

What do you think of the Bills/Eagles OVER 37.5?

Bills look to be without Whitner (flu), adding to their huge defensive injury list this year. Looks like Sheppard and Dawkins are doubtful to play as well! That hurts that Philly defence bigtime.

With nothing to play for on both sides, I don't see either team holding back. Take away the snowbowl, and the Bills have played 4 of last 5 games Over. Philly capable of putting up points, and the Bills won't be shy on offense either. Number seems a little low to me.

Any thoughts?

That total worries me a bit JML. Buffalo's offense just doesn't seem to gel on the road, which would make me apprehensive about an over play. Just 2 Buffalo road games have gone over the total, both were blowout games. They have scored over 14 points just one time on the road (17 to the Skins), & to top it off there's sure to be a ton of running. I'm going to wait till the half & see what's going on...

j/k lol thanks Sham..... For me this is more of a play on SF's defense... they have been very good against the run lately, & although they give up a ton of yardage through the air, they haven't ben allowing too many touchdowns. No doubt the Browns will be motivated to win, but that doesn't always translate into winners. Anyone worried about qb's making their first start, take a look at the backup qb thread. Not really much to argue! IMO this line is more based on perception, so I'm on it

I like playing against teams who "need to win", provided they're not a veteran team who has been there and done that.

Young teams who need a win tend play tense and to choke under the pressure....

So yea, I'm agreeing with you, lol

What do you think of DEN +3? I like them for the same reason, as I think MIN will choke on the road in a must win. But their rush defense scares me...cause it flat out sucks, lol.

Stif- I lean pretty heavily to the Broncos ML here... Cutler should be able to throw the ball on the Vikings. The Vikings haven't proven themselves worthy of being a road fave IMO, & Tavaris Jackson should see some pressure. He's thrown 5 ints in his last 2 games at home! One dimensional offense on the road laying points? No thanks. The Vikings run D (which is their stragnth defensively), allowed 100+ on the ground last week at home....Possible bad weather as well, IMO it's a low scoring closely fought game...
