Solid wrs for sure! I think Marion has a good year, but Bush is a big ? mark. Garard could very well put up better numbers than Cutler! McFadden will be off the bench by game 3

I love the Bengals...but God, they are in shambles. Maybe they can rally around Marvin this year. Its just going to be absolutely stupid this year to go to a couple of Bengals games and have to hear the poor PA announcer say, "Starting at WR, Number 85, Chad Ocho Cinco!" "Pass complete for 15 yards fromt Carson Palmer to Chad Ocho Cinco!"

How fucking ridiculous is that going to be? Its going to be embarrassing as a Bengal's fan to have to hear that stupid shit. I hope Chad has a huge year....he better...otherwise it will be the second time this year that he's looked like a complete douchebag.

Well I have since made quite a few moves- including one of the worst fantasy trades ever. As we all know Brady went down, then Tavaris got benched, so I picked up Garrard off waivers. He wasn't doing much so I figured I would try & get a QB. My buddy & I hook up a trade- I gave up Garrard/Slaton in exchange for Carson Palmer/Maroney. Well guess what happens


Needless to say I had a 1-3 start & was ready to give up. The Bears D was my leading scorer. Then before the Chargers/Saints game I proposed a trade of Witten for Tomlinson to the same guy that I traded Slaton to. He accepted (said it was over for LT this season), which gave me a very solid rd core in LT, Ronnie Brown & Grant. I still have McFadden & have since picked up Sproles off waivers. I am now sitting in 2nd place with a 6-3 record after 5 straight wins. My new & improved team....


QB- Garrard, Flacco

RB- LT, Brown, Grant, McFadden, Sproles

WR- Roddy White (stud), Berrian, Lance Moore, Ocho Stinko, Stokley

TE- Alex Smith, Celek

K- Bironas

D- Vikings


Surprisingly, my wrs have carried my team this season. Roddy White/Berrian have both been very consistant, & I even got 2 tds from shitty Chad last week. Honestly barring injury, I don't think I will need to make any moves at that position. TE position is fine with me- no top te, but I feel the Witten for LT trade could be highway robbery. Just picked up Flacco/Celek from waivers today. I had Anderson so I needed someone, & the other options were Thigpen & Culpooper (too risky). As you can see my glaring weakness is @ QB.


My question is this- do I try to trade away a rb in exchange for a top qb? I think giving away one of my rbs could really hurt my options every week, as one is likely to face a solid d (ie Grant vs Minny this week). At the same time, I could be in trouble down the road if I don't get a better than average QB.

i would stick with what is working. like you said by keeping all 3 rbs you can exploit the best matchups. I was 7-2 in my league tied for first and needed a qb as i only had pennington, garcia and matt ryan. I got brees and leon washington for lee evans and jonathan stewart and now i have no missing pieces.
