I had what I call a "treadmill day" yesterday. That means when all the smoke had cleared at the end of the day I was basically in the same spot I was when I started the day. Starting with a 52-37-2 58% mark I finished 63-47-3 57%. Although I only improved my record by 1 win, 3 ML wins and hitting my only 3 unit play yesterday I managed to add 4 units to my record by going 11-10-1 +4.0 u. for the day. A lot of work (yes, I need to be more judicious with my plays. something I struggle with every season, but I digress) for litle reward but the fact of the matter is I love football so much I would gladly watch each game with or without the gambling edge. Besides, as an old poker adage will tell you, "Its better to win a small pot than to lose a big one." (which is a good thing to remember the next time you raise preflop with pocket Aces and the table folds to you. Sucks, but its a heluva lot better than having your Aces cracked on the river.).

Yesterday I let a seemingly low line go when I passed on taking the NYG at -6 because it "seemed" too good to be true. NY won easily. The same feeling strikes me in tonights game with the Saints at -3. Like Sea Min has only one win ATS. Also like Sea the Vikes have avg. less points scored than ponts scored against and both are on the road. In two games at home Min has outscored their oponents 35-28 but on the road they have been outscored 54-36. Breaking that down further Min has scored only one TD in 4 1stH quarters on the road (at home as well for that matter) and have been outscored 30-13 in those 4 1stH quarters on the road. Conversely NO has outscore their opponents 28-16 at home in the 1stH.
That said Min will win by double digits.
