If you're betting against me on Thursdays & Mondays in the NFL you're doing well, but this game has my eye so I'm making yet another small play this week on the early game with what I feel is a great line. I think too much is being made about Brees on the road this year in pregame coverage. Sure his stats are noticeably split home v. away, but any good veteran QB will put the numbers in the back of his head and make every effort to have the best game he can each time he steps onto the field. Over the course of a season those numbers will go closer together. The last two years he's been better on the road than at home, so it's not like history is repeating himself. I'm taking what I feel is the better team with better offensive talent tonight to win in a close game in the cold. Pierre Thomas has shown he can make quality reads at the line and provide protection. Having all the Bush packages available should make the Saints tough to defend tonight. The kicking game has me somewhat worried with rookie Hartley at Soldier Field, but the guy hasn't missed a kick yet, so I have little reason to doubt him. Plus, I'm not capping the game based on who makes/misses a kick. That generally can be attributed to luck. Hope I get some luck tonight... I need it, and of course best of luck to everyone.

I've got my card in line for the rest of week 15. I may still add a play on the Sunday Night game, and I may have one or two 2nd half plays. I'm trying something different with the three small home favorites I like because I think they all have very good chances at keeping it w/in a TD. With Jackson starting for Minnesota and Garcia hobbled for Tampa Bay, along with Miami those are my three strongest picks to win SU. I'm taking the points with Miami and keeping them in one bet because I think they either take care of business or blow it. I really like the Falcons to keep the Bucs at bay and use their running game which is still very much intact. My two strong leans are the Packers and the Redskins, but I don't trust either team right now laying points and the only reason I'm playing them is because they fit perfectly into a teaser. I'm also convinced that I'm jinxed on Monday night, but I really like this total this week... So I'm putting my play in early in hopes that the curse can be broken. Holy ****, this looks like a lot of action for me this week. I like all these bets though, a much more gradient scale of how much I like each team and the final score. 2 points away from a winning day... I needed one more point from Miami and one more from Atlanta... instead I'm at 2-7 down a sizable amount. Tough day. Going to ride my total play for tomorrow and get ready for some bowls. Hope everyone did better than me today.
