Thanks Whaley! Pushed there....
Patriots-.5-130 1stq Eagles/Colts o7+100 1stq 2 units each Pats-270 Eagles-170 1 to win 1.18 units Indy has yet to put up a td, that should change tonight imo. Pats line is climbing, looks like too many pts to lay in preseason, but I don't feel comfortable playing the Bengals here.... I will likely be on KC tomorrow...

Split thanks to the goalline stand by Minny. The Chiefs will be awful this season IMO. In other news, I think Minny is going to be on the fade list for me. Methinks they will be getting some unwarranted inflation ats.
Saints/Texans u38.5 Chargers/Cardinals o40.5-104 Redskins-3.5-105 Bears-3-102 2 units each Texans D should be stout this season, and with the addition of Sharper & Vilma, the Saints D should be much improved. I tend to think this one plays out as a much more defensive game, NO knows they can score, but I think they'll look to run clock a bit. I would expect plenty of rushing attempts from Pierre & Bell, with Bush a little banged up. Orlovsky, Sexy Rexy, Brunell and Harrington- looks to me like a who's who in qbs that can't get in the endzone.... I tend to think that a good qb is extra hungry to get that first td of the preseason. Warner & Rivers have yet to do so, though SD as a team threw for 329 yds vs seattle. Volek is no slouch either. I'm sure the main objective for Kurt will be to keep him healthy, but I think he'll be able to punch one in before he heads off to the sidelines. The Cards moved the ball fairly well vs Pitt, outgaining them and having the lopsided 22-13 advantage in 1stdowns- too bad 2tos did them in. Looks like Beanie will get action tonight, and they have plenty of young talent @rb. Looking into a possible 1stq wager as well. IMO PItt and NYG have nothing to prove, while the Skins and Bears do (particularly defensively). Therefore I will roll with the home teams....

I'm done looking at mags and ****. I feel that I do better when I just wing it. Was looking through old discussion threads and saw that often my initial leans did better than add ons. Haven't had much time myself to really get deep into the CFB, but I'm getting excited.... I'm still going to try and contribute to a weekly thread, hopefully we can shake out some winners! Doing fairly well in preseason sides, but totals did me in. Dumb of me to try and determine preseason totals. I will likely only be playing overs in the regular season, selectively of course. I'll also be looking as always into team totals. some random observations...... The Bills are in trouble. The O-line simply hasn't gelled, and I fear that they are facing too many good D- Lines this season. Losing Lynch for the start of the season was huge imo. Though Freddie is a more than capable backup, he just doesn't have the power run game. Trent (god help me), looks like Drew ******* Bledsoe so far. He's been holding the ball to long and forced a couple throws. Initially I was able to cope with his not so strong arm as it seemed like he would make wise decisions. Now I'm scared. Yes TO's presence greatly affects how a team defends, but if Trent has no time it won't matter. I really like our draft pick te Nelson, who is a great offensive weapon. However, he is a subpar blocker. Even the change to the no-huddle offense scares me lol. Defensively, there are some gaping holes. SS Donte Whitner is shockingly bad. I really thought he would end up being a solid starter but no he's trash. Scott has shown signs of promise @ fs, but McKelvin/McGee/Corner all seem to have the toughest time defending the quick slant. Our LB is what scares me the most defensively- Kawika Mitchell is our best lb right now. Posluszny the jury is still out on and Ellison shouldn't be in pro football. Maybin's holdout pretty much assures that he won't be ready for the season, hopefully he's not another buffalo bust. Patriots team total over week 1 looks good.... IMO they hang 31+ on us... Green Bay's offense looks like it will be a machine this season. Rodgers looks comfortable, his arm looked strong and I think Jennings is a legit #1 wr. James Jones should produce this season for them as well. I'll be looking to back them on team total overs. Going out on a limb and saying they win the division.

Interesting you point out James Jones. All I've been hearing is that he will be the #5 receiver. It appears Jordy Nelson has surpassed him and Ruvell martin as the #3 receiver. I do agree that GB will be a monster on offense. However, I think their adjustment to the 3-4 defense will be difficult and really hurt them this season. Can;t wait for the football seasons to arrive and I look forward to your insight
