This here NFL Week Five!
Early games:
Minnesota Vikings -10.....2* - HOMER ALERT! Letdown? We'll see? The talent difference here is unmistakeable. I'm looking for the Vikings' lines to get it done today. They were able to get Aaron Rodgers last week - how about this week against Kyle Boller? New York Giants -15.....2* - I really do not see how this is going to be close. I think whether or not Eli is healthy enough to give it a go today, the Raiders defense will have to stop Brandon Jacobs. When and if they stop Jacobs, then they'll have to stop Ahmad Bradshaw. Baltimore Ravens/Cincinnati Bengals o42.....2* - I really want to bet the Ravens ATS today, but with the tragedy in Cincy, they'll be playing with a fire under their ass to win it for their coordinator. Points, points, points baby! Carolina Panthers -3.5.....2* - Okay, looks like some sharp money coming in on Carolina. Hopefully the running game will take the pressure off of Delhomme. Spot on the Vikes and Giants (esp Ahmad Bradshaw - yay for starting him in FF), but way off on that total and should NOT have bitten on the flippin' Carolina game. I did that too many times last year and it costed me. Ugh!
Late games: Jacksonville Jaguars +1.5.....2* - Liking the matchup of Jacksonville's offense vs the still-banged-up Seattle defense. MJD goes off early, free's up passing game later.
