I went against DEN last week and paid for it. Here I am again going against DEN. They deserved to win last week, they played better all around. This week I think it's a bad spot for them. SD is off of the bye so a chance to get healthy and a chance for the backups that have been playing to sort some of the problems out and get their assignments together. The line is asking for DEN money. Even now throwing the hook out there is asking even more so. A 5-0 team that is dogged should tell you right there that the books don't think this is a good spot for them. DEN could have a let down too after McDaniels beat his teacher. If SD can get Gates loose there will be trouble finally for the denver defense.


Jets -9.5

This Bills team is such a mess. They cannot score a td on the Browns, muster 10 points against Miami (which is looking really good right now). Their offense cannot get anything going. I would look for more of the same this week as the NYJ will make life a living hell for the Bills o-line and Edwards. Only angle I see for BUF is that it is a division game and they could get up for it, but I don't think that will be able to change the level of play they put forth. Edwards should continue to be a weapon and the Bills will eventually fade away especially on the road. The spread has only mattered in 11 games so far this year, that is like 14%. So I'm simply picking the winner here even though it is above the typical 7 pts.

Falcons -3

I really like the Falcons matchups against the CHI secondary. I'm also not sure CHI will come out ready to play off of the bye. ATL is playing well and I look for their defense to step tomorrow. Pick the winner.


Eagles/Raiders Under 40.5

Eagles always struggle with OAK. I would not be surprised if they come out sluggish and make some mistakes on offense. Raiders are going to run the ball like always and try to keep the ball away from Philly. Also, I've seen a ton of penalties recently on Philly so looking for that to continue and maybe kill some drives.
