He is more of a salesman now then a NFL handicapper. Maybe in his youth he cared more about making respectable NFL picks. Now he is probabaly just thinking that he has a ton of customers anyway who are all gamblers, so it isn't hard to get them back for more, even if he just makes absurd NFL picks. If you were in his situation, being one of the most famous handicappers, having a movie made about you, would you care anymore about the picks you release. You would continue to bring in the customers regardless. It is funny that in one scene of the movie, he has his cronie make the picks for him, maybe that's what he is doing now. Anyway, there are plenty of good handicappers still out there, so if you are unhappy with Lang just get someone else.
