I cannot back SEA on the road, especially in an early game. Probably a good teaser play just in case as well. DAL should smell blood this week since either the Giants or Eagles must lose this week.

HOU @ BUF +3.5
I just don't trust HOU to go on the road and perform well as a favorite.

MIA @ NYJ -3.5
The Jets were one play away from winning by 3 at MIA. I think they have more room to improve than the Dolphins from that performance.

STL @ DET -3 (-120)
This is my local game and the only way I'll be able to tolerate watching is with action. Is it possible for a team like DET to be overconfident? I would hope not.

Something about Eli troubles me.

So in retrospect I am WAY too heavy on home teams. Probably not a good thing but I've got the late games yet so we'll see what happens.

Banking on a worthless Delhomme TD late in the game to make this game look closer than it was.

Way too many points to ask an inconsistent team like SD to cover.... they might win by 30+, or it could be a one score game.

Bought the 0.5 point. Can this be anything but a close game?

A positive day yesterday which was the first one in several weeks. I'l take it and we'll see if I can add a unit tonight. Conventional wisdom says the Unstoppable Saints O should manhandle a banged up Falcons D. If ATL is smart they try to establish a run game, limit posessions, and keep it close. So I am hedging my bets with:
