Default Schedule Research

Did a little research today on the strength of each teams schedule up to this point. Some interesting tidbits jump out. Classified teams as Bad(2 or less wins) and Good(5 or more wins).

- Cleveland, Baltimore, Tennessee, Oakland, and Tampa Bay have played the most good teams at four each. No wonder one is winless and two have only one win.

- The Colts have played zero, yes zero good teams. In fact they've only played one team with 4 wins(Arizona). They will face their first good this week vs the Texans.

- Giants, Eagles, and Redskins have played the most bad teams at four each. Must be nice to be in the NFC East. Bad omen for struggling Washington when you are 2-2 vs bad teams.

- Atlanta, Cleveland, and Tennessee have yet to play a bad team. Atlanta gets one in Washington this week.

Other tidbits:

- Denver has played 3 good teams and beaten all three.

- Baltimore is 1-3 vs Good teams.

- Dallas is 3-0 vs bad teams while 0-2 vs good teams.

- Green Bay is 3-0 vs bad teams while 0-3 vs good teams.

- San Francisco 2-0 vs bad and 0-3 vs good.

- San Diego is 3-0 vs bad and 0-3 vs good.

- NY Giants 4-0 vs bad and 1-2 vs good.

- Atlanta 0-3 vs good teams.

- New Orleans 2-0 vs good teams.

- New England 2-0 vs bad and 0-1 vs good.

Note on the 49ers. They are 0-3 vs good teams but have been in all three games. Lost to Minnesota in the last seconds by 3, lost to Houston by 3, and lost to Indianapolis by 4. All three games were on the road also. They may be a team to watch especially as a dog. Singletary has these boys playing good football besides one hiccup against Atlanta.
