What is it you like about the Bears? I like the idea of going against Baltimore as a DD fave, but I don't like the idea of backing the Bears ever again.

Stif- just had a whole writeup deleted so here's cliff notes.


situation- Bears with "nothing to play for" specially after losing to GB. Most thought if there was a time Chi would be playing for pride it would be vs GB. Ravens need a win to keep ahead in the playoff picture. It doesn't always play out the way it should.

Perception- apparently the Ravens are back on track with Rice killing it. However, that was vs Detroit. I'm not saying the Bears D is good, but they are still light years ahead of the Lions. Detroit had given up in the 2ndq last week (which is why I went large on Ravens team total last week). I think because of the way the Ravens won last week, perception has shaded this line too high. GB was 4 pt faves last week @ Bears, which would indicate they're 7 pts better on a neutral field. The Ravens are 8+ pts better than the Bears? The Bears have been blown out in a couple games- Zona, @Cincy, @Minny. They were in pretty bad spots every time and were shut down offensively. All three IMO have much better defenses than the Ravens. The Bears have lost by 7 or less to GB twice, @Atl, @SF, and vs Philly. Also blindly fading the team with the biggest MOV the week previous is 8-6 ats, been tracking all season. I think it would likely be profitable long term.....

Giants need this one and I'm sure the skins would like to play spoiler. I don't trust the Skins full game, and think the total is a shade too high given the way these two teams play each other. However, the Giants defense isn't good. Last 3 road game 1sth results for the Giants....
