Except for week 3, NFL preseason is really just a guess.

What do you mean? This is my preseason GOY, lol.

Seattle -3.5

Oh wait, the Seabags aren't even playing....

Yea, really though, I don't get how you can cap preseason games either, especially not one like this where the starters will play like 5-10 snaps and no one on either team gives a shit if they win or lose.

GL to you guys though

Line did move 1.5 points in the Steelers favor and the total has come down 3 to 3.5 points, depending on the book, with relatively split public action. I can't imagine a sharp pounding a preseason game though, so I have no freakin clue what to really make of that.

I'd play the under if i had to take a wild stab. Luckily i don't

By the way, I've had a little success in the past playing 2 team/7 points teasers (small plays, just for a reason to watch) on preseason games. I'd just teaser up 2 teams that were already dogs of +3 or more to +10 or more, and it worked pretty good, since often these games are low scoring and close.

Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents worth of preseason football capping in there, lol

Cause people refuse to believe the oddsmakers know more than they do and bet on every "lock" and "easy winner"....plus play every freakin over they can get their hands on, and also because people make plays they don't feel real strong about just for a reason to watch primetime games. That and the fact that people chase losses and lay stupid juice just to get a measly and 95% of the time meaningless half point in their favor (talking NFL only....the points matter much more in hoops).

Well, that and the NBA officials fixing games, lol

No bets on this game for me, but there is value to be had in the preseason. This just wasn't one of those games.

With the info available prior to the start of the game, it looked to me as if neither team was working in anything new.
