Sabres PL +143 vs Thrashers - 3 Units
Thrashers are horrible, on b2b, with their only 2 stars less than 100%, and facing a very good, and very fast team hungry for their first win playing rested at home...

Hurricanes +150 vs Sens
Looks like a good spot for the Sens to go down for the first time. Coming home late after playing in Georgia last night....against the rested Canes, confident after Tuesday...and who have good goaltending and enough depth to steal one on this huge number.

Islanders +170 vs Leafs
Have to take a stab at this crazy line. Leafs are horrible in their own end again this year, have the the human sieve in net with Raycroft, are banged up, will most likely have a slow-footed goon and 2 new minor-leagues on the ice for "shake-up" reasons, have a 1st line winger with leukimia who hasn't scored, Tucker hasn't scored and is -5...this team shouldn't be laying -170 to the Charlestown Chiefs. Islanders traditionally own the Leafs, much like the Canes do...and we saw what happened on Tuesday. Special teams are huge in this new NHL...Islanders are one of the top teams in both areas....LEafs one of the worst. A rare fade of my home team tonight....too much pressure at home...fans calling for the GM's head already...after they lose bad tonight, I might back them on the road in Pittsburgh on Saturday on what will likely be a big dog line.

Devils +104 vs Panthers
Fading the horrible Panthers on a b2b as well. Devils are a good team, but are 1-2 because of losses on the road to good teams, OTT/TB. Devils in a tough spot with this season-openeing road trip, but they can't afford to get too down before they open their new building, and will win these next two games against bad teams. Florida cannot score goals (only 4 this year), so I can't expect them lighting up Brodeur. Devils always kill the cats (8-2 last 10)...wrong team favoured here.
